MADE – Manufacturing Academy of Denmark – is a union of businesses, universities, GTS institutes and educational institutions. The vision is world-class production in Denmark.
Denmark must remain a competitive manufacturing country in the future. Through collaboration between companies and researchers, MADE utilizes and expands on the strengths that Denmark is known for worldwide. Danchell is a member of MADE and participates in the MADE DIGITAL WP8 together with companies like Danfoss, Lego and Vestas.
A demo project has been defined and initiated, in which Danchell, together with professors from the Danish Technological Institute and the University of Southern Denmark, challenges modern manual processes in relation to the latest knowledge and best-practices in automation, digitization and vision. We challenge the degree of automation for the production process – including where it usually does not make sense, with a special focus on automation of smaller production series.
In addition to our participation in MADE, we are constantly striving to make high quality Danish production even more attractive, so that more companies can benefit from having their production closeby. Our main tool is to reduce the wage share in the products.
- Our typical areas of focus:
- Automation of wage heavy processes
- Selective soldering of manually assembled components
- Lean optimized production cells
- Removing time wasters in the processes, including the administrative processes
- Simple workflows
- Effective cost management
